Ciao! My name is Sami Lynn Stem, and I am a special education teacher at the Coatesville Area Senior High School. I was born and raised in Pittston, Pennsylvania (in between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre). I graduated from Pittston Area High School in 2005, and then from East Stroudsburg University with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education in 2009. I have been teaching for over 5 years, and my story has only just begun.

When I was 24 years old, I relocated to Pensacola, Florida from 2010 until 2016, and taught high school English while I lived there. On June 11, 2016, I married the love of my life on Pensacola Beach. Right after we got married, we both moved back to Pennsylvania in June of 2016 so that we would be closer to our family. In August of 2016, I was then hired to work for the Coatesville Area School District to teach special education/English.  I love to cook, relax, and hang out with family and friends. Most of all, I LOVE my English Lab. His name is Gus, and he is amazing! I am looking forward to meeting all of you, and most importantly --- teaching! My main goal is to inspire and build trusting relationships with my students in order to help them stay succesful through out their high school career.
