Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Michele Snyder
Happy Fall everyone. It is hard to believe that October is coming to an end. Soon we will be setting our clocks back, leaving work in the dark, and beginning the Holiday Rush. November 1st brings a close to the first marking period. I am not sure where those first forty-five days went.
The second marking period is beginning and to me, this marking period always seems disjointed. We have several vacation days and mid-term exams which all serve to break this marking period up for our students. I encourage everyone to be diligent in completing assignments. Stay focused and keep moving towards your goals. Juniors, remember that colleges will look at your performance this year. It is very important to do your best and remain on task. Seniors, you too, need to stay on task. You still have time to improve your grades and SAT scores. Make your final run strong.
I am looking forward to sharing in the college acceptance process with our students. Once your student has made their final decision on the school of their choice, send in a copy of their acceptance letter. I want to display the pathways that our students will take once they graduate and matriculate to college. Also, if your student is planning to enlist in the military, I would love to share their patriotism and celebrate their service to our country. Finally, students who are entering the world of work, please share that as well. Your future is bright and we want to recognize all of our the accomplishments of our students.
I am looking forward to our Winter Concerts, play off games and start of our Winter sports season. We have many things to look forward to at the High School. I encourage to get involved and come to see our wonderful students.
