OUR FINAL SUMMER SNAPSHOTS!
As summer comes to a close and we prepare for a new school year, we’re wrapping up our Summer Snapshots series with a special reminder that some of the best connections made in our classrooms last well beyond the school year!
This summer, Mrs. Miller had the opportunity to cheer on two of her former kindergarten students, Arianna and Grace, as they took the stage for their dance recital! Mrs. Miller taught both girls at East Fallowfield Elementary and was thrilled to see them shine doing something they love.
Now, Arianna is heading into 7th grade and Grace into 6th grade, both at Scott Middle School, while Mrs. Miller begins a new chapter as a Reading Specialist at Doe Run Elementary.
What a perfect way to close out our Summer Snapshots — celebrating the relationships that grow right alongside our students and make the Coatesville community so special. Great job, Arianna and Grace, and thank you to everyone who shared their summer adventures with us!

What a day for our Red Raider Marching Band!
Today’s Band on the Yard Day with 6ABC was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the hard work and talent of our marching band as our students performed LIVE on television for viewers across the Philadelphia region!
The experience didn’t stop there. Our students also had the opportunity to tour the 6ABC studio and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the news is produced and broadcast every day. Who knows—an experience like this might just inspire one of our Red Raiders to pursue a future career in media and broadcasting!
Congratulations to our students and staff on a memorable day, and thank you to 6ABC for giving our Red Raiders an experience they won’t soon forget!

SUMMER SNAPSHOTS!
It was a summer filled with adventure, competition, success, and giving back for Stephan Carter, who is heading into 8th grade at Scott Middle School!
Stephan competed in two sports at the AAU Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa, earning a silver medal in Freestyle Wrestling in the 95–101 pound division and helping his 4x400-meter relay team place 29th in the country! He also traveled to Cleveland to compete in the Real American Freestyle Next Gen Tournament, where he continued developing his skills and participated in a wrestling clinic led by Ohio State wrestling champion Johnni DiJulius.
And Stephan’s summer accomplishments extended beyond athletics. He also gave back to his community by volunteering with the Coatesville Youth Initiative, serving as a camp counselor and photographer.
Congratulations on an incredible summer, Stephan! We are proud of everything you accomplished both in competition and right here in Coatesville! We can't wait to see you next week!

From the mountains of New Mexico to the ice rink, Samantha Gomez has packed plenty of adventure into her summer!
Samantha, an 11th grader at CASH, joined eight fellow members of Troop 76G for a nine-day backpacking adventure at Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico, with stops at Garden of the Gods in Colorado and a Colorado Rockies game along the way. She also spent a week at Camp Horseshoe, earning merit badges in woodworking, leatherworking, and archaeology.
When she wasn't exploring the outdoors, Samantha was on the ice! She played spring/summer hockey with the Cannons, recording a goal and/or assist in every game she played. She has now started a new season with the Philadelphia Liberties, helping her team to an 8-0 victory in its first game with a goal and two assists!
