What an action-packed summer for Ben!
Ben, who will be entering 4th grade at King's Highway Elementary School, has packed plenty of adventure into his summer break. He spent a week at Camp John H. Ware III for Cub Scout resident camp, attended Caln Community Day and soccer camp, went fishing, and even caught a Lancaster Stormers baseball game.
One of the highlights? Ben got to spend the night camping out right on the baseball field after the Stormers game! From camping and sports to fishing and baseball, Ben has definitely made the most of his summer.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, Ben, and we can't wait to welcome you back to King's Highway for 4th grade!

For Xavion, summer has been a time to explore, learn, and challenge himself!
Xavion, who will be entering 5th grade at Doe Run Elementary School, participated in several hands-on learning experiences this summer. During a five-day program at Villanova University, he explored medicine and STEM through real-world activities, including learning about anatomy and dissecting cow hearts! He also participated in Camp Cadet, where he challenged himself and developed new skills.
These experiences gave Xavion the opportunity to explore his interests, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally. What a great way to spend the summer before beginning a new adventure at Doe Run!

Summer Snapshot
Earlier today, we shared Brayden Leech's incredible baseball journey to the Intermediate Little League World Series. His younger brother, Hunter, had a memorable journey of his own!
Hunter, a 2nd-grade student at Doe Run Elementary School, made his singing debut by performing the National Anthem before the Intermediate State Championship in Pennsylvania. He was invited back to perform before the Regional Championship in Delaware and then took his talents all the way to California, where he sang the National Anthem for the East Region before Game 2 of the Intermediate Little League World Series!
Standing alone and performing in front of so many people takes tremendous courage, especially at such a young age. From Pennsylvania to Delaware to the Intermediate World Series stage in California, Hunter showed confidence and bravery while creating memories that he and his family will never forget!

What a summer on the diamond for Brayden Leech!
Brayden, an 8th-grade student at Scott Middle School, helped his baseball team make an incredible run to the Intermediate Little League World Series in Livermore, California. Along the way, the team captured the Pennsylvania State Championship and Regional Championship, going a perfect 13-0 on its journey to the World Series.
Brayden struck out the final batter to secure the state championship and then, as the starting pitcher in the regional championship, recorded 10 strikeouts in 4.2 innings to help send his team to California. At the World Series, Brayden started Game 2 as his team competed on ESPN against some of the best Little League teams in the world.
The team finished its remarkable summer with a 14-2 record and memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations, Brayden, on representing Scott Middle School and the Coatesville community on the world stage!

What a championship summer for Mannat Badh!
Mannat, who will be entering 8th grade at North Brandywine Middle School, captured a GOLD medal and the title of USA Taekwondo National Champion in sparring for the Cadet Red Belt Female (ages 12-14) division at the USA Taekwondo National Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina, in July!
And she didn't stop there—Mannat also earned a bronze medal in Traditional Forms/Poomsae at the national competition.
Congratulations, Mannat, on these outstanding accomplishments! Your hard work and dedication have taken you to the top of the podium, and your North Brandywine and Coatesville families are incredibly proud of you!

Angie, a rising 7th grader at North Brandywine Middle School and a member of the Junior Honor Society, spent five days volunteering as a Den Chief at the PARC Chester County Day Camp for Cub Scouts in Exton. A member of G611 Hibernia Troop in West Brandywine, Angie also successfully completed her Safeguarding Youth Training Certification this year.
Thank you, Angie, for dedicating your summer time to serving and supporting others! North Brandywine Middle School and the entire Coatesville Area School District are proud of you!

Their adventures recently took them to Baltimore, where they watched the Orioles take on the Phillies at Camden Yards. The trip was extra special as it celebrated Luke's birthday, and he even made an appearance on the stadium's big screen! The family also enjoyed exploring the National Aquarium before wrapping up another unforgettable summer adventure.
Now, Kol, who will be entering 4th grade, and Luke, who will be entering 3rd grade, are excited to head back to Rainbow Elementary School for another great year.

What a fun-filled summer it's been for Zoe Speller!
Zoe, who will be entering 1st grade at the new Doe Run Elementary School, has been making memories every step of the way. From playing with neighborhood friends and attending summer camp to visiting the beach, the boardwalk, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, and Sesame Place, she's packed her summer with adventure.
She's also enjoyed spending time with her best friends, Kinsley, who will also be entering 1st grade at Doe Run, and Nylah, who is excited to begin Kindergarten there this fall. Together, they're already building friendships that will continue in their brand-new school.
Zoe is counting down the days until she begins her next adventure at Doe Run Elementary. We can't wait to welcome her and all of our newest Red Raiders this school year!

What an unforgettable summer adventure for Michael Salgado!
Michael, a rising 8th grader at North Brandywine Middle School, had the incredible opportunity to attend the National Scout Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia—an event held just once every three to four years that brings together Scouts from across the country.
During his week at Jamboree, Michael experienced the thrill of white-water rafting, gave back by helping assemble flood relief buckets for communities in need, learned about firearm and bow safety, began collecting and trading patches with fellow Scouts, earned merit badges, and received an International Spirit Award.
Congratulations, Michael, on making the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience! Your spirit of adventure, service, and leadership makes the Coatesville Area School District proud.
