BUILDING THE FUTURE AT NORTH BRANDYWINE!
Last week’s groundbreaking marked an exciting milestone as we move into the next phase of construction for the new North Brandywine Middle School!
While we celebrated this important step, work on the project actually began two years ago, and significant progress has already been made.

THE WINNING DIDN’T STOP ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
After our Red Raider football team picked up a big win Friday night, the Red Raider Marching Band kept the winning weekend going!
The band traveled to Rustin High School on Saturday and brought home first place in the USBands Group 1A competition! They also earned specialty awards for Best Colorguard and Best Visual!
Congratulations to all of our talented musicians and performers on a fantastic showing!
Next up, the Red Raider Marching Band heads to Ridley High School this weekend for another competition. Contact Mr. Hughes at CASH for ticket information.

The stands were packed, the Red Raider pride was on full display, and our team delivered a 35–7 victory over Owen J. Roberts in Friday night’s home opener!

There’s nothing quite like a Friday night under the lights — especially when the Red Raiders are back home!
Friday night’s 2026 home opener brought out plenty of Red Raider pride as our fans packed the stands to cheer on Coatesville against Owen J. Roberts. The evening also included a special tribute to our local military veterans and first responders, recognizing them for their service to our country and community.
And our Red Raiders gave the crowd plenty to cheer about, kicking off the home schedule with an impressive 35–7 victory!
The lights were bright, the crowd was loud, and it was great to have Friday night football back in Coatesville!
Let’s do it again this week! Join us as the Red Raiders take on West Chester East on Friday, September 25, at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you under the lights!

THE ARTS ARE ALIVE IN CASD!
From shooting and editing video in a visual arts class to crafting mosaic tiles, from bouncing a ball to discover rhythm to playing an instrument and to raising voices together in a choir, creativity can be found throughout the Coatesville Area School District!
As we celebrated Arts in Education this week, we wanted to highlight the many ways our students experience the arts every day in our schools.
Whether they are behind a camera, creating with their hands, making music, or performing together, the arts give our students opportunities to explore, express themselves, develop new skills, and discover their talents.
Take a look at some of our students in action and help us celebrate the arts in CASD!

BREAKING GROUND AND BUILDING THE FUTURE!
Yesterday was about much more than turning a few shovels of dirt. It was a celebration of North Brandywine Middle School’s next chapter!
From a choral performance of the National Anthem and cheers from the North Brandywine cheerleaders to remarks from Superintendent Dr. Anthony Rybarczyk, School Board President Lyryn Yacoe, Principal Jarvin Williams, Student Representative Stella Polk, longtime North Brandywine teacher Michelle Kreger, and State Representative Danielle Friel Otten, the excitement surrounding this new school could be felt throughout the afternoon.
Administrators, teachers, students, community members, and invited guests came together to celebrate another modern school that will serve our students for decades to come.
And, of course, everyone got a chance to play in the dirt!

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC**)** has asked the Coatesville Area School District to help share an opportunity for members of our community to provide feedback on proposed safety improvements identified through the Regional Vision Zero study.
If you travel this stretch of Lincoln Highway, DVRPC wants to hear from you! If you complete the survey by September 22, you can enter for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card from DVRPC.
