A Carnival of Creativity at Reeceville

The spring art show and concert at Reeceville Elementary School brought a fun carnival theme to life as students truly “popped” through their artwork, music, and singing performances.

Student artwork is now displayed throughout the hallways for families and students to enjoy, while our young musicians performed both during the school day for their peers and again Monday evening for their families.

A special thank you to art teacher Ms. Rossiello and music teachers Mr. Cropper and Ms. Anderson for their hard work in making this amazing event possible!

Talaria Throwback Thursday

This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us back to a time when moviegoers were quoting “May the Force be with you,” people were learning the “Magic” of Olivia Newton-John, arcades were packed with Pac-Man fans, and everyone wanted a Rubik’s Cube.

Take a look at this week’s Talaria yearbook photos and see if you recognize any familiar faces from this unforgettable era in Coatesville history.

-Who do you recognize?
-What memories come rushing back when you think of this time period?

The Believe & Achieve Foundation supporting the Coatesville Area School District with a donation for our summer programs.

Making the right school choice for your child is important, and the Coatesville Area School District is dedicated to “Building the Future for Student Success” right from the very start.

Students in smaller classes have more opportunities for individual attention, the ability to build stronger relationships with teachers, and a chance to engage more meaningfully in the classroom.

With an average class size of only 20 students in kindergarten, our youngest learners can be part of a supportive learning environment where children feel seen, valued, and inspired to grow every day.

CHOOSE COATESVILLE and give your child a strong start in a community built on learning, support, opportunity, and pride.

Exploring Coatesville’s History

Students in the Historic Research and Preservation classes at Coatesville Area Senior High School recently participated in a Historic Walking Tour of Coatesville led by Lisa Doan-Harley.

During the tour, students visited historic buildings and landmarks throughout the city before making their way to the National Iron and Steel Heritage Museum to learn about the impact of Lukens Steel on both the Coatesville community and the nation. Students also had the opportunity to see the World Trade Center steel and explore the historic Lukens Steel Mill buildings.

A meaningful hands-on learning experience connecting our students to the rich history of Coatesville.
