Welcome to The Reading Office!

My name is Lori Witman and I am the Reading Specialist at Caln.  This is my 29th year in the Coatesville Area School District.  

Although many things have changed, I feel as though I am coming back to my roots. I began my teaching career at Caln and spent the first 13 years here teaching Third grade and First grade.  Prior to returning to Caln, I most recently taught Math and First grade at King's Highway Elementary School.  

I attended West Chester University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Instructional Media with an Instructional Technology Specialist Certification, and a Master's degree in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification.

I am a wife and mother to two adult children.  My husband and I are both proud Coatesville graduates and our daughter is a 4th generation Coatesville graduate.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, camping and crocheting.
