The Board of School Directors of the Coatesville Area School District would like to announce the vacant Board seat in Region I (City of Coatesville, Valley Township), a four-year term set to expire in November of 2027. The Region I vacancy has been occasioned by the resignation of Donna Rowland on April 28, 2026, pursuant to the requirements of 24 PS 3-315 of the Public-School Code of 1949.
The Board will interview applicants, consider, and act upon the appointment of a candidate, as well as any other business that may come before the Board, at its Board Meeting, on May 26, 2026 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Coatesville Area School District Administration Building, 3030 C.G. Zinn Rd., Thorndale, PA 19372.
The Board encourages anyone in Region I who is interested in serving on the School Board to follow the process for applying.
