Dear Coatesville Area School District Families, Staff, Students, and Community Members,
Over the past five months, the Coatesville Area School District (CASD) has engaged in a comprehensive and collaborative planning process to guide the future of our schools. Through five formal committee meetings, a diverse group of parents, teachers, administrators, staff members, community representatives, students, and board members worked together to shape a meaningful and forward-focused plan.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to every member of the Comprehensive Planning Committee. Their work reflects our collective commitment to “Building the Future for Student Success” while honoring the pride and unity that define our community.
As part of this process, the committee updated our Mission, Vision, and Core Belief statements and established four SMART goals to guide our work through June 2029. They are outlined in the graphics below.
This Comprehensive Plan serves as our roadmap through 2029.
Together, we will continue “Building the Future for Student Success” — grounded in pride, strengthened by unity, and focused on empowering every student to become the best version of themselves.

Estimadas familias, personal, estudiantes y miembros de la comunidad del Distrito Escolar del Área de Coatesville,
Durante los últimos cinco meses, el Distrito Escolar del Área de Coatesville (CASD) ha participado en un proceso de planificación integral y colaborativo para orientar el futuro de nuestras escuelas. A través de cinco reuniones formales del comité, un grupo diverso de padres, maestros, administradores, miembros del personal, representantes de la comunidad, estudiantes y miembros de la junta trabajó en conjunto para desarrollar un plan significativo y con visión hacia el futuro.
Me gustaría extender mi sincero agradecimiento y reconocimiento a cada miembro del Comité de Planificación Integral. Su trabajo refleja nuestro compromiso colectivo de “Construir el Futuro para el Éxito Estudiantil”, al mismo tiempo que honra el orgullo y la unidad que definen a nuestra comunidad.
Como parte de este proceso, el comité actualizó nuestras declaraciones de Misión, Visión y Creencias Fundamentales y estableció cuatro metas SMART para guiar nuestro trabajo hasta junio de 2029. Estas se presentan en los gráficos a continuación.
Este Plan Integral sirve como nuestra hoja de ruta hasta el año 2029.
Juntos continuaremos “Construyendo el Futuro para el Éxito Estudiantil” — fundamentados en el orgullo, fortalecidos por la unidad y enfocados en empoderar a cada estudiante para que se convierta en la mejor versión de sí mismo.
