Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Breanna Kriston. This is my tenth year teaching kindergarten at East Fallowfield Elementary School. I graduated from West Chester University with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Reading minor. I have my Master's in Education with a Reading Specialist certification from Cabrini University. I am also a part of the Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science curriculum committees for the district. 

I will have the pleasure of teaching your child this year. I hope you and your child enjoyed the summer and that you are ready to embark on an important milestone in your child's life. Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. 

This year your child will not only be using their imagination and creativity, but they will be mastering important skills, such as recognizing letters and numbers, learning letter sounds, reading independently and adding and subtracting. 

In my spare time I enjoy reading and I love to go to the beach or any place tropical. When you walk into the classroom you will notice the light up palm tree, which shows just how much I like the sand and the ocean! I am excited for this school year and to get to know your child. I am looking forward to a great year with a lot of memories!
