My name is Joann Billman and I am the PLTW teacher at East Fallowfield! This is my seond year in Coatesville Area School District at East Fallowfiled Elementary School. This is also my second year teaching PLTW and I cannot wait to have you back in the science Lab learning so many AMAZING thigs! 

I graduated from West Chester Univeristy with a K-5 Elementary Degree. As time progressed I recieved my Special Education degree. I am currently working on my masters with a reading specialitst degree. I love to learn and that is why I am enjoying teaching PLTW. There are so many great things to explore and learn in every unit! In my teaching career I taught in many grades: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family! I have a husband and 4 kids- Anna (13), Ella (11), Ava (7), Oliver (7) and a Weimaraner dog named Maggie! We love to take family walks, hikes, reading books together, baking, cooking (we have our own cooking and baking wars), bike rides, and playing board gmes! I spend a lot fo tme watching thier sporting events and reading good books. Science has always been a favorite subject of mine, so getting to teach and explore with my students is something I look forward to everyday!
