We know parents love capturing those special first-day-of-school moments, and we want to see them!
By clicking here, you will find "First Day" signs for every grade in English and Spanish.
Print the ones you need.
Snap a picture of your child(ren) holding them on their first day of school on Monday, August 31. Students at Doe Run Elementary will hold them up on Tuesday, September 8.
Send your pictures to us at goodnews@casdschools.org. (Please include your child(ren)’s name(s) and the school(s) they are attending.)
No printer at home? No problem! Stop by the CASD Administration Building or your child’s school to pick up a copy. For students attending Doe Run Elementary, if you need signs, they can be picked up at Kindergarten Orientation on Tuesday, September 1, or the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, September 2. Both events will be held at the new school building!
We can’t wait to welcome our students back, and we’re excited to see all their smiling faces in your photos!

Encontrarán carteles del “Primer Día” para cada grado, en inglés y español, haciendo clic aquí.
Impriman los carteles que necesiten.
Tomen una foto de su(s) hijo(s) sosteniendo el cartel en su primer día de clases, el lunes 31 de agosto. Los estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria Doe Run podrán sostener sus carteles el martes 8 de septiembre.
Envíennos sus fotos a

¿No tienen impresora en casa? ¡No hay problema! Pasen por el Edificio Administrativo de CASD o por la escuela de su hijo(a) para recoger una copia. Para los estudiantes que asistirán a la Escuela Primaria Doe Run, si necesitan carteles, podrán recogerlos durante la Orientación de Kindergarten el martes 1 de septiembre o durante la Ceremonia de Corte de Cinta el miércoles 2 de septiembre. ¡Ambos eventos se llevarán a cabo en el nuevo edificio escolar!
Estamos ansiosos por darles la bienvenida nuevamente a nuestros estudiantes y emocionados por ver todas sus caras sonrientes en sus fotos.
