Please stop by and see Ms. Chanudet for a chance to win one of our raffle prizes.
Picture day was this past Friday; proofs will be available to families soon. Please note that picture retakes are scheduled for December.

On Friday, October 31st students are welcome to dress up to celebrate the fall spirit for Harvest Day. Masks of any sort and full-face paint are not permitted. Any costume accessory that resembles a weapon is not permitted.
We will celebrate Harvest Day with a parade. Families are welcome to watch the parade, which will begin around 2:00 and take place outside. Following the parade, students will return to class for classroom harvest fun.
Families are welcome to attend and watch the parade. We ask that spectators arrive no earlier than 1:45 PM. Parking is available in the lot/field in front of the building. No vehicles are permitted past the building.
Classroom helpers pre-arranged with teachers must sign in with the main office following the parade by entering the building through the front door. Please reach out to your student's teacher to arrange. We will have pre-arranged visitor badges ready (similar to field day).
Early dismissals will go through the main office as usual. Please enter through the front door and buzz in. | | | Bus Safety | To ensure a positive and safe experience for all students, we are reminding everyone of our bus expectations:
- Respectful Behavior: Students should treat each other and the bus driver respectfully. This includes using appropriate language and refraining from bullying or harassment.
- Staying Seated: For the safety of all passengers, students must remain seated while the bus is in motion. Moving around can lead to accidents and distractions for the driver.
- Following Instructions: Students should listen to the bus driver and always adhere to their instructions. The driver is responsible for the safety of all students on board.
- No Food or Drink: To maintain cleanliness and safety, we ask that students refrain from eating or drinking on the bus.

 | Water Bottle | All students need a refillable water bottle for use during the school day. There are four bottle-filling stations, two located in the cafeteria and two in the hallway. There are no water fountains, only fill stations. |
 | MTSS at KH | We’re excited to share that our MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) cycle is beginning! During this time, students will walk to different classrooms to work in small groups focused on targeted reading skills. This model helps us give each child the support they need to continue growing as readers. If you have any questions about MTSS, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or our school counselor, Ms. Mitchell. This is a process used for identifying students and then providing differentiated instruction and intervention to address their needs. Part of the process involves screening all students three times per year. |
| | Coming soon!Soon to roll out at Kin'gs Highway - a new digital PBIS system.
