Monday, October 12, is a teacher in-service day for the Coatesville Area School District. There will be NO school for students.

The fun didn't end when the final whistle blew at last night's Powder Puff Football Game!
In true Coatesville Homecoming tradition, students and families gathered for the annual Homecoming Bonfire, keeping the excitement and Red Raider pride going strong!
With our Red Raider cheerleaders, marching band, and the Red Raider himself helping lead the celebration, there was plenty of school spirit to go around as everyone gathered around the fire.
From the excitement on the football field to the warmth of the bonfire, it was a great night of celebrating our students, our traditions, and what it means to be a Red Raider!
The Homecoming spirit is burning bright in Coatesville!
Homecoming Spirit Week continues at the high school campus, and our students and staff are bringing the spirit!
Yesterday’s theme was Country Club vs. Country, and Red Raiders had the choice of dressing for a day on the golf course or tennis court or a day down on the farm!
From polos, visors, and country club style to boots, flannel, and plenty of country flair, our students and staff had some fun showing which side they were on.
The Homecoming excitement is building, and there’s still plenty more Spirit Week fun to come!
Keep bringing that Red Raider spirit, Coatesville!

Homecoming Spirit Week continued yesterday at the high school campus with Class Color Day, and our Red Raiders filled the halls with plenty of color and school spirit!
Seniors showed up in yellow, juniors rocked purple, sophomores represented in green, and freshmen brought the orange!
And our staff? They weren’t about to pick sides! Instead, they showed support for ALL of our students by combining the colors in some colorful tie-dyed fashion!
Homecoming is getting closer, and the spirit keeps getting bigger!
Keep it going, Red Raiders!

It was a beautiful night for football at Coatesville Memorial Stadium as our annual Powder Puff Football Game brought the senior and junior Lady Raiders together for a little friendly Homecoming competition!
Both teams came ready to play, bringing plenty of energy, determination, and competitive spirit to the field. And while the juniors put up a great fight, it was the seniors who came away with the victory!
But the night was about more than just the final score. From the action on the field to the families cheering from the stands, it was an evening filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of Red Raider pride!
Congratulations to our seniors on the win, and to all of our Lady Raiders for making this annual Homecoming tradition another memorable one!
What a great night to be a Red Raider!
Homecoming Week is here, and our students and staff are getting into the spirit with a full week of fun at the High School Campus!
Monday kicked things off with Adam Sandler Day, and there was no shortage of creativity as students and staff dressed as their favorite Adam Sandler characters from his many movies.
From some familiar movie characters to plenty of classic Sandler-inspired looks, our Red Raiders had a little fun getting Homecoming Week started!
And this is only the beginning! Stay tuned throughout the week as we share more of the fun and school spirit leading up to Homecoming!

A little rain couldn’t stop the C-ville Picassos — the Campus Art Club — from sharing their creativity at the Coatesville October First Friday event!
Our student artists had a great time displaying their work, connecting with members of the community, and even selling some of their artwork! What an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and experience what it’s like to share their creations with others.
A special thank you to Kure MacDonald from Art Mark Alliance for helping make the evening possible by providing the students with tables, chairs, and a tent to keep them covered despite the rainy weather!
Congratulations to our C-ville Picassos for representing Coatesville and sharing their artistic talents with the community!

Some of our Coatesville students spent Saturday exploring the possibilities of STEM at Super Science Saturday at West Chester University!
Girls in grades 6–12 had the opportunity to take part in hands-on STEM activities, explore areas that interested them, and connect with women working and studying in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Throughout the day, students worked alongside STEM faculty and undergraduate mentors, participated in experiments and activities, and wrapped up the experience with a Q&A featuring women in STEM from the university and industry.

Way to go, Lady Raiders!
October is National Principals Month, and the Coatesville Area School District is proud to recognize the dedicated principals who lead our schools each and every day!
Being a principal means wearing many hats — welcoming students in the morning, supporting teachers and staff, connecting with families, celebrating successes, solving challenges, and helping create school communities where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Their leadership, commitment, and care help set the tone in our buildings and make a difference in the lives of our students each day.
Throughout National Principals Month, we celebrate our CASD principals and thank them for everything they do for our students, staff, families, and community.
Thank you for leading the way and helping us Build the Future for Student Success!

Today, on National Custodian Appreciation Day, the Coatesville Area School District recognizes the dedicated custodians who work each day to keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff.
Much of what they do happens behind the scenes — before our students arrive, throughout the school day, and after everyone has gone home. From preparing classrooms and maintaining our buildings to responding whenever an extra hand is needed, their work plays an important role in everything we do.
To all of our CASD custodians, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and pride in our schools.
Today, we celebrate you and everything you do for our students, staff, and school community!
