NOTIFY THE CHARTER SCHOOL/SCHOOL OF WITHDRAWAL

1. Contact the school your child currently attends.

2. Ask for the formal withdrawal form or procedure.

   • Every school may have its own process.

3. Complete and submit any required forms and request a withdrawal confirmation in writing.

Tip: Request a copy of your child’s academic records and immunization records, which will be needed for re-enrollment in CASD.

GATHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR CASD ENROLLMENT

Prepare the following documents before registering:

1. Proof of Child’s Age (one of the following):

   • Birth certificate

   • Valid passport

   • Baptismal certificate

2. Proof of Residency in CASD (three required):

   • Lease or deed/mortgage statement PLUS:

   • Utility bill, pay stub, or government correspondence (dated within the last 30 days)

   • Driver’s license or state-issued photo ID

3. Immunization Records

4. Withdrawal Form or Letter from the charter school (if available)

5. Academic Records (report cards, transcripts, IEP/504 plan if applicable)

COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR CASD

1. Visit the CASD registration portal: https://www.casdschools.org/o/casd/page/new-student-online-registration

2. Select "New Student Registration".

3. Fill out all required fields, upload documents where prompted and submit the application.

Note: If you need help with technology or uploading documents, call the Pupil Services Office at 

610-466-2400.

 ATTEND AN IN-PERSON ENROLLMENT APPOINTMENT (if requested)

In some cases, the district may contact you to schedule an in-person appointment to verify documents or discuss placement.

NOTE: IEP or Special Education Services: If your child has an IEP, be sure to provide it during registration so services can continue without interruption.

SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT AND START DATE

• After approval, your child will be assigned to the appropriate school based on grade level and home address.

• You will receive:

  • Confirmation of enrollment

  • Start date

  • School contact information and transportation details (if applicable)
