Report Time For Seniors

Senior students must be seated in the CAIHS Auditorium NO LATER than 5pm. Students should plan to be on campus by 4:30pm. Please note that students should allow additional time as there is an increase of traffic on and around campus due to graduation. Students should park in the student lot as they would otherwise (between CASH and the baseball/softball fields).

General Instructions for Students, Cap and Gown Info.

Gowns should be removed from the packaging and hung to help decrease any creasing/folds that may have occurred in the package.


*Cap and Gown distribution will occur to Seniors after the Senior Breakfast on Tuesday, June 3 - only to those WITHOUT an obligation. Seniors please clear all obligations prior to this date so that you receive your cap and gown without delay.

What should seniors do after the ceremony?

The graduates must continue to walk out of the stadium or gym and walk directly to the location in CASH listed below to pick up his/her diploma. Graduates CAN NOT stop to meet family/friends and they should plan to do this after the diploma pick up.

(*Parents/Guardians - it is recommended to give your senior a meeting location for when they come out of CASH tat the end of the night to make it easier to connect - especially with all the caps and gowns!)


A list of the room assignments for seniors to report after the ceremony will be released prior to June 5 in an effort to expedite the process of having our graduates unite with family and friends outside.

General Instructions For Seniors

  1. Seniors are not permitted to carry cell phones, cameras, or any other electronic device. Seniors are not permitted to wear sunglasses or any clothing accessories outside gowns.

  2. Female students should plan to wear light colored clothing under red academic gowns.

  3. Male students should plan to wear a white shirt and dark (preferably black) tie. Dark trousers, black shoes and black socks. NO JEANS, SHORTS or SNEAKERS!

  4. Academic hats (caps) are worn straight, not tilted, and with the tassels on the right front. Caps are to not to have any decorations. Tassels are not changed during any part of the program.

  5. Processional In and Recessional Out of the Ceremony - Seniors must walk with his/her partner, follow the person in front of him/her, stay in line, keep good posture. BE DIGNIFIED!

  6. Learn the Alma Mater.

  7. Once out of the stadium/gym seniors are to IMMEDIATELY report to the alphabetically assigned room to receive the diploma and final report cards. (*Seniors must keep moving all the way until they reach the assigned room and CAN NOT stop on the way out of the ceremony).

Ticket Information

Each Senior will receive an envelope of tickets after graduation practice on Wednesday, June 4 . These are the ONLY tickets that will be distributed from the school. These tickets include:

  • 10 Outdoor Tickets

  • 3 Indoor Tickets (in the event of inclement weather that requires an Indoor Ceremony - there are no extra tickets available so please KNOW WHICH 3 family members/friends will receive one of these 3 tickets and each PERSON needs a ticket regardless of age)

  • 2 Livestream Tickets for CASH Auditorium (for those who do not have an INDOOR ticket - it is encouraged for as many people to view the livestream from home in the event of an INDOOR ceremony)

Spectator Parking and Campus Traffic Information

Family and friends attending graduation SHOULD PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY!!! Fire Police will be controlling the traffic on campus and directing parking. Please note that the campus roadways will be shutting down around 5:30pm. Anyone arriving after the campus road closures will need to park in one of the lots indicated with the P with the red circle around it in the parking map below. Please note that the roadway immediately in front of the Intermediate High School and CASH Main office will be closed to allow for all the pedestrian traffic. Disabled parking is available in the large lot between the two buildings (blue lot) and indicated as such on the map below.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! (Bag policy and Security Screening)

Spectators are to use the stadium main gate on the home side or the visitors gate for entry (the CDC gate is CLOSED and not an entry). All spectators will walk through security scanners before entering the stadium. Bag restrictions are in effect so please plan accordingly prior to entering. Scanners will also be used in the event of an indoor ceremony. Please see the photo below - note Balloons are not permitted into the bleachers so we will have balloon check locations for both sides of the stadium as well as in the gym lobby in the event of an indoor ceremony. STADIUM GATES WILL OPEN AT 4:30pm FOR SPECTATORS (OUTDOORS) and if an indoor ceremony the Gym doors will open at 5pm to allow for everyone to pass through security.

Seating for anyone with health conditions or impairments will be available in the first two rows by the ramps in the stadium and if indoors on the first row. (these areas will be marked accordingly and ask for people to please be considerate)

The District plans to make a decision and announced late morning on graduation day based on the most recent weather forecast. As soon as a decision has been made it will be communicated.
