Chasan Hall Receives Honor

Chasan Hall Receives Honor for Eagle Scout Project

Chasan’s Eagle Scout Project was to collect items that were used to assemble care packages for service men and women in Afghanistan and other postings in the Middle East/Northern Africa. He assembled 23 collection sites for toiletries, snacks, and other “entertainment” items (e.g., cards, games, magazines). He worked with students from JSMC as well as his Scout Troop and the National Honor Society to put together 107 packages that were sent primarily to service people from our area.

So moved by his work, one of the units that received packages sent Chasan a flag that was flown in his honor on a combat mission in Afghanistan. As proud Coatesville alum, Chasan has presented the flag to be displayed in the High School 9/10 Center in the JAFROTC trophy case.  Chasan is currently a freshman at Yale studying English and Chemistry.
