Hello! I am Karen Shaffer and I currently hold a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University after working my way through college. My teaching certifications were completed through West Chester University and include PK-4 plus Grades 4-8 with concentrations in Science and Math. I completed my Master of Education Degree through LaSalle University with a concentration in Building Classroom Community. Currently, I am pursuing a STEM ebndorsement through Neumann Universtiy. This is my sixth year teaching STEM, for which I co-wrote the curriculum. It is my pleasure to teach and serve the students at Scott 6th grade center and to serve as a Girls STAR peer mentoring facilitator.
