Mr. Eric W. Pearson
My name is Mr. Pearson. I am happily married and the father of four children. I have been an educator in the Coatesville Area School District since 1999. During my tenure in Coatesville, I have taught sixth grade Language Arts, Social Studies, and Earth Science. I have also coached both football and wrestling. I presently teach fifth graders at King's Highway Elementary School.
I am originally from Morrisville, Pennsylvania. This is located in historic Bucks County. During my early formative years, I was a student in the Pennsbury School District. I received my high school diploma in 1993. After graduation, I continued my academic studies at King's College. At this institution, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Following my college degree, I earned fifty graduate credits in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University. Later, I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with an Administrative Certification from Cabrini University. I am presently enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and in the process of completing coursework for a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Studies.
For most part of my career, I have taught Language Arts and Earth Science at the middle school level. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching these subject areas and its encompassing content. Most importantly, I have always enjoyed working with elementary level students and helping them develop the pertient academic and social skills necessary for future personal and vocational success. I truly believe that every life is valuable, matters, and has an important purpose. It is also my belief that every student is capable of high academic achievement and success. I believe, as educators, we are responsible for nuturing and equipping students to reach their full academic potential both now and in the future.
I embrace the new challenge of teaching at the elementary school level and begining a new journey in my academic career.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or need assistance.
