Raiderbots Article
COATESVILLE—The Coatesville Area School District Raiderbots Robotics Team traveled to Harrisburg to demonstrate their robotics prowess in the Capitol building on January 31 at the invitation of Pennsylvania State Representative Dan Williams.
Williams said he was impressed by the nationally ranked team’s success, along with the school district’s commitment to what’s known as STEM education – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Williams treated the team to lunch and a tour of the Capitol.
The Raiderbots bested 15 other teams from across the state to qualify for the state championship, scheduled for March 4 in Saucon Valley, PA. The team is comprised of students from Coatesville Area Intermediate High School and Senior High School.
