The Safties Club

Members of the Reeceville Elementary Safety Patrol will help keep Reeceville a safe and positive environment by reminding peers to follow school rules, and serve as role models for younger children, who look up to them. Additionally the goal of Safety Patrol is to foster qualities of leadership and good citizenship in the patrol members.

The Coatesville area school district Safeties have responsibilities within the building which build leadership capacity amongst our students.  The responsibilities of a safety include the following:

• Monitor the hallways when the students are coming into school in the morning

• Monitor the hallways as the students leave the students during dismissal

• Hold the doors as students are entering the building in the morning

• Hold the doors as the students are leaving the building during dismissal

• Monitoring buses and greeting students as they board the bus at the end of the day

• Stay in assigned locations until the last students have been called for the buses

• Be a leader within the school building and on the school bus

Day (or dates if not a regular pattern): First Wednesday of the Month

Time: 3:40 to 4:20

Location: Room 25 (Reading Room)

Grades attending: Fifth Grade

First meeting date/time: Wednesday, November 6th at 3:40 pm - Application Process will start this week.
