    MS Word & Excel is a one-credit, year-long course.

    The first semester focuses on Microsoft Word, with emphasis on the following:

    • Creating and editing a Word document
    • Word Window Term, Text Entering and Editing, Formatting Characters, Creating single and multi-level bulleted lists, Insert and edit image, Enhancements, Working with properties, Correcting errors
    • Creating a Research Paper
    • MLA Layout, Document Settings, Works Cited, Formatting Title and Content Text, Proofing and Revising, Creating a Cover Letter and Resume', Letterheads, Templates, Letter Styles
    • Creating a document with a Title Page
    • Table, Chart and Watermark, Inserting a document into an open doc, Headers and Footers, Tables, Working with formats Styles and Lists, Newsletters

    Excel (2nd Semester)

    Advanced techniques
