About the Event
This event is inspired by, and dedicated to, the bright and beautiful spirit of Jacinda Miller. Jacinda inspired so many others to be better, to push further, and to achieve your goals and dreams. She did all of that and more, never realizing the positive impact she had on those around her.
The Chester County Half Marathon & Memorial 5k provides a way to honor her spirit while continuing to inspire others to be their best selves. It will raise money not only to ensure her children will always be cared for, but to fund causes and organizations that were important to Jacinda and are important to our community. It allows our community to begin healing. It gives us all something positive to focus on, in this time of terrible loss.
The Specifics of the Event
Chester County’s INAUGURAL Half Marathon
100% of registration fee is donated to charity
2 courses: 13.1 mile loop (Half Marathon) and 3.1 mile (5k) out-and-back
Start and Finish at The Coatesville Country Club
Top Finisher prizes in each age group
Closed (to traffic) course with water stations every 2 miles
Route designed over roads that Jacinda has run many times
Scenic Chester County
And so much more!
